This is the album of my life. I’ve wanted to make it for many, many years and, like all real quests of the heart, it almost never happened. You’ve heard about the pledge music scandal? This album was right there in the thick of it and my fans were part of the crusading army that helped shut that company down.
From a song writing perspective this album is my attempt to stand in the same arena as some of my heroes, Henley, Hornsby, Waits, Hiatt and Taupin, to name a few.
I’m thrilled to learn that it has been placed in many critics and fans top 10 lists for 2019!
Myths, Legends & Lies chronicles my travels through the world, both real and imagined and it’s populated with Gods & heroes, kings and derelicts, gunslingers, cardsharps, sailors and cyborgs all telling their tales of life, injustice, love and murder. It’s electric, it’s acoustic, it’s blues, it’s rock, it’s cinematic and it’s eclectic. It’s an album that you will keep coming back to.
